Among their crops this week are: Asparagus, Beans-Foot Long, Beets, Boc Choi, Broccoli (first picking), Carrots Fingerling, Cauliflower, Chard, Cilantro, Collards, Cucumber, Dandelion, Eggplant, Fennel, Garlic-Scapes, Herbs, Kale, Kohlrabi, Lettuce, Onions, Parsley, Parsnips, Suger Snap Peas, Potatoes, Radishes, Rhubarb, Spinach, Salad Mix, Zucchini, Cherry Tomatoes, Sweet Potatoes, Strawberries, Dried Beans, Roasted Cornbread mix, Popcorn. Whew! All in one breath.

That’s right folks, more strawberries this week!  The season doesn’t last for ever, so shop like you vote, early and often!

They also will have available eggs, grass-fed cheese, yogurt., grass-fed raw milk, and raw honey. If you are interested in apple cider, maple syrup, and flowers, speak with Justin and perhaps he can bring those to the next market.

Tim will be back with Turkey Sloppy Joes (a big hit last week) along with his other delicious baked goods. There is another home-made sandwich in the works as well as special iced teas and sodas. We will update as details become available. We can personally vouch for the pound cake, oatmeal cookies, strawberry rhubarb tart and double chocolate cherry biscotti!

We are excited to welcome our new anchor vendor, Crawford Organics, from East Earl, PA. Crawford has been providing fresh, local produce to Philadelphia farmer’s markets several years and we’re pleased as all get out to have them as part of our market this year. Farmers Market 2016 Kickoff

Please join us as the 2016 Pretzel Park Farmers Market kicks off its fourth season on Saturday, May 14th, at 10 am. <a href=”http://www.pahouse.com/delissio”>State Representative Pam DeLissio</a> will be on hand to say a few words to open the Market and highlight the importance of continued support for Farmers Markets in our district.

Live music will be provided by the The Max Mifflin Trio.
