I (Justin) have been farming with the Crawford family for the last 14 years. I’ve enjoyed bringing the freshest and best from Lancaster County to you Don’t miss out. Cool weather greens abound which, naturally, makes you think of pumpkin pie, squash soup, sweet potatoes, apple cider, and apples in your fresh salad.

The farm has been growing organic produce since 1998. Since 2002 they have partnered with Paradise Organics, and between the two farms, offer a full line of fresh organic vegetables to wholesale markets. In 2008 and 2009, they attended a farmer’s market in Philadelphia. They merged with Wimer’s Organics CSA in 2016.

Turkeys from Livengood Family Farm in Lancaster, PA, are $4.50 a pound. Each whole turkey weighs 12-20 pounds (some may be larger, some smaller).

Livengood will select a turkey for you as close to your preferred weight as possible. The earlier you order, the better your chance of getting the size you request.

You get a freshly-dressed, fully-chilled, never-frozen whole turkey ready to be cooked, neck and giblets (heart, liver, gizzard) included. For an additional $5, you can request to have the turkey cut into pieces: breast, leg/thigh, wings, and back/neck; however, you … Read the rest
