Lancaster Organic Growers

This week Justin is bringing the following:

Vegetables, Organic: Beets, Baby Boc Choi, Green Beans, Cabbage, Carrots, Cilantro, Chard, Collards, Dandelion, Eggplant, Garlic (Hard neck), Kale, Leeks, Lettuce, Onions, Peppers (Sweet, Jalapeño), New Potatoes, Rhubarb, Shallots, Winter Squash, Tomatoes (limited – cherry, red/yellow/pink, heirloom), Herbs (Mint, Chives, Parsley, Rosemary, Sage), and Popcorn.  Kale Chips made from Justin’s kale (regular, sunny, Italian, and hot).

Fruit:  New Asian Pears. From Northern Lancaster County, Brecknock or Kauffman’s Orchards (low spray) fresh Apples, Blackberries (limited time), Raspberries, Nectarines, Peaches (yellow, white), Pears, and Plums.  Organic Goji berries.

Dairy: Organic Cheese (lots of it); Organic Yogurt (plain, vanilla); Butter; You must pre-order Organic Raw Milk by Wednesday for Saturday.

Other: Eggs (pastured, GMO free and soy free); Local Raw Honey; Brenneman’s maple syrup (grad B dark rich color and taste) from Salisbury, PA; and Whoopie Pies (Lancaster County Dutch favorite) from Breakneck (Chocolate w/vanilla cream or Peanut Butter, Chocolate chip, Shoofly Pie. . .)

Flowers:  Organic flower Bouquets.

Also at Justin’s stand:  Old World Soups from Anna Karenna’s Kitchen https://oldworldsoups.com/ — marrying heritage recipes with local ingredients.  (Frozen) —  Fire Roasted Tomato and Pepper Bisque (with Justin’s Heirloom Tomatoes); Russian Red Borsch (Lone Star Farm pastured beef); Split Pea & Bacon (Center Hill Farm Heritage Pork); Siberian Chicken Noodle (Fresh Market Organic white meat); and Apple Squash (squash, onions, cream, olive oil, and spices).

Kennett Square Specialties

This week Kennett Square Specialties will be bringing the following mushrooms: Portobello, Crimini, Shiitake, Maitake, King Oyster, Pioppino, Pom Pom (Lion’s Mane), Gray Oyster, and Yellow Oyster mushrooms.  They also will have mushroom teas featuring Reishi and Cordyceps mushrooms. These organic teas will be available in Herbal Berry, Mint Spice, Tulsi Ginger Lemon, and Green Chai Spice.  In addition, they will have dried porcini available.

 Fifth of a Farm Creations

Among the jams and jellies this returning vendor is bringing are:  Blue Bell Hill Berry Jam, Harrowgate Peach Jam, Rittenhouse Red Pepper Jelly, Port Richmond Grape Jelly and Strawberry Mansion Jam.  They have a new recipe for the Manayunk Saskatoon Berry Jam, and some new additions such as Queen Village Quince Jam and Honeyfest Blackberry-Lavender Jam.  They also have seasonal jams and jellies, such as Point Breeze Tomato Chutney and Somerton-Byberry Rhubarb Jam, as well as gift baskets.

Slow Rise Bakery
The following Slow Rise breads and baked goods will be available at the Friends of Pretzel Park table:

Bread:  100% whole wheat, sprouted wheat, spelt, cinnamon raisin, multigrain, sourdough, Miche, and baguette.

Baked Goods:  four seed cookies, peanut butter/chocolate chip flourless cookies, chocolate crumb cookies, honey crisp, and lavosh.

A Piece of Positivity Studios

Carlee Myers, the Owner and Founder of A Piece of Positivity Studios.  She is an expert at helping women who are unhappy at work (and beyond) get their mojo back and make adulting fun. Carlee has worked with many individuals to create environments that inspire and motivate them to live a life true to themselves and to help them gain clarity about what they want to create for themselves in the first place through one-on-one coaching and creative workshops. Before founding APOP Studios, Carlee earned her BFA in Curatorial Studies and Fine Art and worked as an artist, curator and arts administrator for a number of years. She has exhibited across the U.S. and has received prestigious awards such as the Fob Fellowship at Second State Press in Philadelphia, PA.

This week Carlee will be bringing artwork, magnets, wooden signs and an interactive activity for you to figure out just what it is that you want in life.
