Okwuma Originals, LLC
Michel founded the company two years ago while suffering from a horrible bout of shingles on her scalp, face, and body. After extensive research on natural remedies, she combined the wonderful anti-inflammatory and moisturizing properties of raw Shea butter and oil with organic, virgin coconut and/or grapeseed oils and added the healing powers of pure, therapeutic grade Essential Oils. She made numerous butters, creams, oils, and spray mixtures with these ingredients and was able to drastically reduce the pain and shorten the duration of the shingles as well as the subsequent postherpetic neuralgia.

Her Shea-based Essential Oil blends are available in the following formats:
– Shea Butter-based Hair & Body Butters or Muscle & Joint Cream
– Shea Oil-based Hair & Body Oils or Muscle & Joint Oil
– Shea Butter-based Exfoliating Body Scrubs
– Bath Soaking Salts
– Home Spa Gift Boxes
– Custom blended formulas

We are determined to make this a low-risk shopping experience for you, the vendors, and our volunteer staff. With that in mind, we ask you to follow these safety protocols:

Market Rules

• All shoppers, vendors, staff, and volunteers MUST wear a face mask or covering
• Only one shopper per household — please leave your children at home
• No pets, we just don’t have room
• Stay 6 feet from other shoppers
• Only one shopper per vendor table — if a shopper is already at a table, WAIT 6 feet back
• STAY HOME if you feel sick or have been sick within the last 3 days

It will be so good to see you again. Please know that we will be smiling behind our masks when we see you at the market.
